[It's not uncommon for little kids to run in the streets as if their life depended on it. After all, they always get in trouble or tend to play games or do errands once in a while. However, today, Xion is doing none of those, running full haste to fetch her brother from the forgery with no regard to the empty bucket she was supposed to be drawing water from the well from as it hanged from her hand, still damp, her apron damp as well. Seems like she spilled all the water in her haste.]

Oh boy. Let's see. School is either the best thing or the worst thing that can happen to you. It depends on the people you're friends with. But it boils down to one thing; popularity. The more popular you are, the more powerful you are in high school society. It pays to be rich too.

The things you do will have an impact on how people see you. If you disgrace yourself in public, you'll be pretty much at the bottom of society there. It doesn't matter if you're a nice or mean person.

What is it like for you then?

I was... pretty average on the popularity scale. I didn't stand out much. One of my friends was pretty popular, so I guess that allowed me to survive.

[Why so oblivious Namine :c Also Kairi says that popularity means nothing because people are fickle and no one should really take that stuff seriously :l just pay attention to the important things.]

I cannot imagine you not standing out. At least, I cannot imagine that people would not see you for the wonderful person you are.

Anyway. We can pretty much... group together people in high school based on that. There's the really popular ones, who can be kind of mean. And I mean really mean, just because they have power and popularity. Bullying happens a lot.

[He frowns at that, but understands it fairly well. After all, it's not unusual for people with power to abuse that power.]

I stayed with my own circle of friends. Which are just a handful but I could trust them.

Well, there's Sora. He's a guy friend. He's really cheerful and outgoing, kinda loud. But he's kind and sweet.

Anyway, he'd carry my books for me and he's always protective. I kinda feel bad for him now that I think about. I guess I really was oblivious.

If you had noticed, do you think you would have returned his feelings?

[ooc: k /goes to post. also, he hates werewolves, but due to me playing around with more vampire legends, some vampires who might need protection or early warnings, such as ones who have enemies, human or otherwise, would train wolves to guard their homes while they slept. To either fend off intruders, or howl to warn the vampire and give them time to escape. Just an idea I had that I took a liking to.]

... not really. I don't have feelings for him that way. He's sweet, but... I like him as a friend.
